Yes, you absolutely can. Whether you are struggling with your actual singing, or finding the right notes (pitching), Giacomo offers a variety of resources, tools and techniques that can help you train your singing and aural skills. Upon your first chat with Giacomo, he will assess your current skillset and situation. That is also a great moment to let him know if you struggle with anything specific. Only one thing is required: passion!

A lot of Giacomo’s students take vocal lessons as a hobby or for non-professional aims. Or even if you are a more advanced singer but have no clue what to do next, Giacomo will help you find a goal and create an effective curriculum to get there. This kind of conversation usually happens during the first session, so by the end of it you will know exactly what sort of objective you will be making your way to.

Giacomo has experienced both of these as a performer himself and has seen them as an educator through his students, therefore he is extremely familiar with the reality created by these factors. He is very understanding of situations and emotions, and will make sure you are feeling as comfortable as you can be at all times. Music in general is such a powerful tool that we can all use to channel, boost, relieve, expel or treasure our emotions. Sometimes anxiety can dictate our lifestyle and choice, but if you are experiencing it yet still wanting to turn the tides… you are already winning big times!

Giacomo is currently working on opening a Booking System which will automate a lot of steps and give students the freedom to view available slots whenever and wherever they want. For now, upon requesting your first lesson booking, you will receive an e-invoice with all the lesson details and payment methods (PayPal or bank transfer). Once payment is received, you will receive an email confirming your slot and your details. Every student can book up to 3 lessons in advance. This limit is in place to ensure that every student has a fair chance to secure a time slot that works for them. If you do need more than 3 for special reasons (i.e. coaching sessions for recording artists, studio sessions, choirs, etc.) please get in touch at vocalcoach@giacomopistilli.com

Full refunds will be issued to all sessions cancelled at least 24 hours from their starting time. If you cancel a lesson too late or even last minute, you will not be eligible for a refund. For in-person lessons: Giacomo has lived in London for 6 years and knows full well the trouble that TfL or traffic can sometimes cause. If you find yourself in these situations, please just get in touch with him via email. Also, students that cancel more than 3 sessions in a row or in a very limited period will receive a temporary suspension from all bookings.

On a general note, no. Giacomo is an established and accomplished educator and performer; he vows to always deliver the highest quality lessons. Refunds are only issued if there’s a change in Giacomo’s schedule or in the event of special circumstances (i.e. fire alarm goes off and requires safety procedure of evacuation, key equipment suddenly not working, etc.) If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a session, Giacomo is always open for a conversation, listen to your feedback and take actions to hopefully bring you a more satisfying service next time.
